Anna Mowry Holmes

(1809–1875) Anna and her husband, Henry Holmes, were abolitionists who allowed their house in Washington County, NY to be used as part of the route along the Underground Railroad. She was elected to the Advisory Counsel for the Fourth Judicial District from Greenwich, NY, serving alongside Susan B. Anthony. If you know more about her, you can help us tell her story.
