Lucy Read Anthony

(1793–1880) Lucy attended the Rochester Woman's Rights convention in August 1848 and signed the Declaration of Sentiments. She supported her husband's temperance and abolitionist activism, as well as Susan's reform work and decision not to marry.

Miss Anthony eulogized her mother. "My mother always said, Go and do all the good you can."
